Lee Molyneux has returned to Accrington Stanley for the third time today, as the club have announced a loan deal for the player.

The 24 year old has returned to us from Crewe Alexandra on loan until January and he’ll be looking to make a very good impression as he has less than a year to run on his current contract with them.

He’s already made 60 appearances for the club in his previous spells with us, scoring 15 goals and he’ll be looking to build on that now he’s back.

Speaking to the Official Site Molyneux joked it was like he’d never been away again having been with us last season.

‘I have never really spent a long time away from the club, I know there is a new manager now but it just has the same feel around the place, it’s so familiar and I’m buzzing.’

Molyneux admits that moving away to Crewe hasn’t worked out how he would’ve hoped for but it was the right move to make at the time, and sometimes things just don’t work out how you would’ve hoped.

‘When John and Jimmy came in for me it was a no brainer. I know they are looking towards the top half of the table and the play offs and I want to be part of that. It’s just great to be back.’
