ANDY Todd has today sensationally quit Accrington Stanley, heading to the freshly relegated Rotherham United.

Todd, 28, put in a string of great performances for the Reds last season (2006/07) and was becoming a firm fans favourite but winger opted to turn down Stanley’s offer of a new contract and head to Millmoor on a two-year deal.

He signed a one-year contract last summer after a successful loan spell at the Fraser Eagle Stadium in the second half of the Conference winning season which saw Stanley promoted in to the Football League following a 44 year absence.

He leaves Stanley with the best wishes of everyone at the club, we just hope he isn’t one of the players that come back to haunt you.
