ACCRINGTON STANLEY boss John Coleman has been boosted by the news that Northern Irish international defender Sean Webb has put pen to paper on a new deal to keep him in East Lancashire.

Webb, has extended his stay at The Fraser Eagle Stadium until the end of the season, after joining Stanley on a free transfer from Ross County earlier in the season.

And after impressing gaffer Coleman and assistant chief Jimmy Bell, the Norn Iron centre back was offered a new deal, which Webb was more than happy to sign.

The news comes a day after Andy Todd rejoined Accrington Stanley on an initial one month loan deal from Rotherham United. Midfielder Ian Craney also looks set to join Accrington for a third time in the coming days.

The news will be here first as and when it happens.
