THE Play-Offs in the Conference National, have almost reached the climax. Morecambe are the first team booked in to the final to play the winner of tomorrows other semi-final winner.

Morecambe over came the tough challenge of York City, eventually winning the game 2-1, after a goalless first leg.

York took the lead through a Steve Bowey penalty in the 20th minute, Wayne Curtis equalised for Morecambe five minutes before half time and effectively won the game for the hosts three minutes after half-time.

Exeter City play Oxford United tomorrow evening (Tuesday), to decide who will face Morecambe at the New Wembley Stadium. Oxford go in to the game with a 1-0 aggregate lead after a Andrew Taylor’s own goal in the first leg.
