Accrington boss John Coleman has let ANOTHER player go on a free transfer, this time though the player in question had just signed a new contract on Friday.

Rikki Bains who joined Stanley from Coca-Cola Championship side Coventry City in August put pen to paper on a non-contract terms deal, has decided the leave the club in search for first team football.

This is the fifth player to leave the club in 2007 as he follows, Gary Roberts and Ian Craney who went to Championship side Ipswich Town and League One side Swansea City respectively and also the releasings of Joel Byrom and Francois Dubourdeau.

There could however be a new face coming in to the Stanley squad. John Coleman has tabled a five-figure offer for a leading Conference goal scorer.
