Manager James Beattie has said the whole squad will be key to our success during the run in until the end of the campaign now.

Having been on a run of back to back defeats we brought that to an end with a good victory over Chesterfield in our last match, and we now head into another tough encounter against Hartlepool and the gaffer told the Official Site that as can be seen from the changes he made ahead of the game against Chesterfield owing to injuries and suspensions, the whole squad will have to be ready to play their part between now and the end of the campaign.

‘A couple of lads have been suffering with illness and that’s something you have to watch, Kal Naismith, Shay McCartan and George Miller have been ill but everyone was back together training on Monday.’

The gaffer goes on to say that with a lot of games coming up in the remainder of this month he was pleased to see those lads come in as they did in the last game and make an impression as obviously it makes his life easier when he knows he can rely on everyone, as opposed to just hoping he can rely on everyone.

‘Everyone will be needed, the lads that came in on Saturday did a fantastic job and I think we surprised Chesterfield and it’s great to see everyone fighting for the shirt.’

Beattie can welcome back Piero Mingoia for tonight’s clash following his shoulder dislocation in training last week and the gaffer knows we’ll need him as he knows the Hartlepool clash is going to be another tough one for us and we obviously don’t want to let them do the double over us this campaign so we’ll be looking to right the result from the first encounter.
